Those looking for an absolute budget DV cam, might want to consider Aiptek's Mini PocketDV 8900.This camcorder features a 5-megapixel CCD capable of recording 640x480 resolution videos at 30 frames per second, and a 2-inch TFT to view videos and images.
The 8900 can also be used as a digital camera, an MP3 player (with a 15-channel equaliser),a voice recorder,Web cam and a portable media player.The device can
also be connected to a TV and operated via remote control. Unfortunately, the PoketDV has only 32MB of internal memory, which thankfully can be extended to 2GB via an SD/MMC memory chip. For more details on the Aiptek's Mini PocketDV that retails at 208$.
