Epson has recently announced the launch of their PerfectionV100 that's specifically designed for home users and photo enthusiasts. Amongst its features, the V100 boasts of 3200dpi optical resolution and a 48-bit colour depth. It also features a new hinge design, enabling one to scan books, magazines and 3D objects easily. The V100 comes complete with four direct access buttons for quick access to common functions including start, copy, scan to PDF and scan to email. Other features include Epson Photo Fix that can automatically adjust the brightness, sharpness, colour saturation and colour balance of the image.
